There are lots of opportunities to come and see Whitmuir Community Farm. In fact, you can drop by any time because Whitmuir is an open farm.

Homemade Food & Seeds Swap
We held a Homemade Food & Seeds Swap event in conjunction with Food Communities in February which was very well attended and enjoyed by everyone who came along. Thank you to Whitmuir Farm for providing the informative tour, Whitmuir Cafe for the delicious hot food, and Adam Skelton of Food Communities for organising the swaps.
We had a very informative trip to LEAP, an amazing organisation bringing the community together and fighting climate change. They shared information about their car club, home energy advice service and ReMode Clothing project. Thanks to everyone at LEAP and Remode for taking the time to show us around and thanks too to the Climate Challenge Fund Development Grant that funded our trip and community consultation work. Our final report can be found here: Community Consultation Final Report 2018_West Linton_Lamancha_Newlands_and_Kirkurd – any local groups are welcome to use the information it contains to apply for funding to support their own projects.
